6' x 10' Trailer

I made this trailer to haul a dirtbike and a jetski. There weren't any trailers with all of the features that I wanted, so I made my own. The whole thing is made from 3/16" wall, 2" x 2" steel square tubing and angle iron with 2x6 treated lumber for the deck

CNC Milled Parts

2024 SAE Baja Hubs

These are the hubs from our 2024 Baja car. They were designed to be lighter while maintaining enough strength to withstand a 5g load case

2023 and 2024 SAE Baja Uprights

This is the right-hand upright for our 2023 and 2024 SAE Baja cars.  A right-hand and left-hand version was made from 6061 and 7075. The bearing bore was machined .0005 oversized and a snap ring groove was machined to hold the bearing in.

2024 SAE Baja Gearbox Assembly

This is the gearbox assembly for our 2024 car. I designed the entire assembly in Solidworks and shared the machining with an apprentice. The assembly is a combination of 6061 and 7075. I also designed the shafts and gears but those parts were made by a sponsor or the SAE Baja team

2023 SAE Baja Gearbox

This is a gearbox for our 2023 SAE Baja car. All dimensions are within +/- .002" and the critical bearing bores are +/- .0005"

2023 SAE Baja Brake Pedal

This is the finalized brake pedal design for our 2023 Baja CAE car. It was milled out on the Haas Minimill in our garage shop and programmed using Fusion360. A pad was welded on after the machining to have a more comfortable feel

2023 SAE Baja Engine Mounting Plate

This is the plate that mounts the engine to the frame on our 2023 Baja SAE car. It was milled out on the Haas Minimill in our garage shop and programmed using Fusion360

Standoffs for Fixture

These standoffs mount to shaft collars and will hold the individual tubes exactly where they need to be welded for our frame. The machining of these parts were simple but it was a fun challenge to decrease cycle time

Farming American Flag Plaque

This is a plaque I made for my dad and grandpa as a keepsake. Our family owns a farm and this was a cool way to use my engineering and machining background to make a cool and meaningful gift

RC Snowmobile

This aluminum frame stemmed from me upgrading the motor and ESC in my 3d printed sled. I quickly ran into a few problems, the main one being that I could not get enough tension on the belt due to everything being made out of plastic. Of course the answer to this problem is to machine it
